Bringing Up Bates fans accuse her of overcharging & taking advantage of buyers.
On Reddit, Bringing Up Bates fans are discussing the fact that Josie sells the curlers for $30 in her shop. Many are pointing out that the same type of curlers can be found on Amazon for much less money. One user said, “Her heatless curlers are on Amazon. Literally the EXACT same ones for $8.45…. In one of her tiktoks she mentioned how hers are such better quality than the $8 ones on Amazon and it’s important to buy hers since they’re apparently such great quality.”
One Bringing Up Bates fan admitted that Josie is “crazy” to sell them for $30. However, they noted that her “followers will buy them.”
There’s no way for fans to know whether Josie’s curlers are the same as the Amazon ones. But some are convinced that hers aren’t anything special. Nonetheless, the Bringing Up Bates star appears to be making plenty of sales. Some fans feel weird about this and wish she wouldn’t take advantage of her followers.
