Hampton Jitney buses are ubiquitous across the city, transporting hordes of folks to and from vacation homes all summer long.

Now the owner of the company, Missy Lynch, is selling her waterfront Quogue estate for $5.79 million. The news was first reported by Curbed.

Located at 32 Penniman Point Road, the property sits on 5.2 acres. It features water views of Penniman Creek and the Atlantic Ocean.

Built in 1990, the 7,025-square-foot home has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a wraparound porch. Other features include a large eat-in chef’s kitchen, a double-height living room and a one-bedroom private guest suite with its own entrance.

Outside, there’s a heated pool, plus permits to build a dock with plans already in place.

Lynch and her late husband, J. Brent Lynch, bought the bus line in 1988. The listing broker is Corcoran’s David Cox.
